Throughout my career, I have focused on the financial management of healthcare and social service community-based organizations. I believe that the Finance department serves as a vital support area, engaging both internal stakeholders—such as Program Directors, Boards, and Committees—and external entities like government regulators and auditors.

I take pride in consistently striving to exceed the expectations of my employers, family, and friends. I firmly believe that education is the cornerstone of success, regardless of when one embarks on that journey. For instance, at 55, I chose to pursue an MBA, joining a class where I was nearly 25 years older than my peers.
The goals I establish for myself and others are designed to be realistic yet challenging. I hold the conviction that nothing of true value is achieved through ease. Moreover, I recognize that successful outcomes stem from teams working cohesively towards a common organizational objective. My achievements can be attributed to hard work, intrinsic motivation, a passion for helping others, the invaluable lessons taught by my father—a Holocaust survivor—ongoing learning from my experiences, and unwavering perseverance.

I have been fortunate to be part of many successful teams, and I take pride in my immersive, participative management style. I lead with positivity, act as a mentor to my staff, treat everyone with respect, maintain an open-door policy, and always keep dark chocolates on hand to welcome guests to my office.
In addition to my MBA from the University of Central Florida, I am an Associate Member of the New York State Society of CPAs and hold a BBA in Public Accounting from Pace University. I am also honored to be featured in Marquis Who’s Who. Happily married for over 17 years, my wife, Lily, and I are proud parents of a talented daughter currently attending Duke University.
