What is Peer Support?
A Peer is an individual who connects with members or the programs through a lens of lived experience; they work with consumers to build a personalized recovery plan, connect with additional resources and community services, and serve as a support system and ally through the recovery process.
Services such as one-on-one peer meetings and various group meetings will be held out of this 17K location; our new location, dedicated directly to Recovery services, allows Independent Living to expand resources to our Recovery Community. For individuals who prefer meeting elsewhere, our Peers meet them where they are at, physically and emotionally.
