Mental Health Supports and Services
Grounded in the principles of the peer services movement, our organization is driven by lived experience, employing experts in their respective fields.
Services are aimed at helping people with psychiatric disabilities, including those at continuing risk of homelessness, to overcome stigma, connect with needed supports, build constructive relationships with peers, advocate on their own behalf, define and pursue their personal journeys to wellness, and make the transition from system dependence to independence.
Independent Living offers mental health services at our Newburgh, Middletown and Monticello, NY locations.
Our mental health service programs include:
- Case Management Services – Facilitation of connections with local providers and supports that support personal goals for wellness
- Forensic Connections Program – Personalized support in navigating Court Recovery Programs
