Homerun Homies
Keeping in the spirit of sports, the Recovery Center Crew batted it out of the park, attending the Hudson Valley Renegades game on Wednesday, July 31, 2024, with consumers, peers, and staff. It is one of the monthly big outings that those who visit the recovery center look forward to! Wearing their purple shirts for disability pride, these events offer inclusivity and warmth to those who can attend. Providing an outlet for those who need a helping hand with no judgment to have some fun and show they are still part of the community. This sentiment can be echoed throughout our organization, especially the recovery center.
If you’re curious to see what happens at the Center, look forward to our upcoming gathering this September 24th.
