The Independence Through Transition Program serves school age youth with disabilities between the ages of 14 and 21. Our transition counselors and career development specialists are on-site at Newburgh Free Academy, Orange-Ulster BOCES and Washingtonville High School.

Through connection with appropriate supports and services, students with disabilities who are at risk of dropping out of school will create an effective plan that ensures opportunities for them to lead productive, independent and empowered lives after leaving high school.
