SUN CATCHERS WORKSHOP

This two hour creative arts workshop is open to the public; there is a suggested donation of $5.

The workshop is an introduction to glass fusing. Participants will learn the basics of glass cutting, utilizing various shapes of colored glass, stringers (pulled strips of glass) and frit (crushed glass) to create a one-of-a-kind glass sun catcher, that will be finished by firing in a kiln.

This workshop will be instructed by Barbara Galazzo, a New York fused-glass artist originally from New Orleans.
